The "Civil Code" is the first law named after the "Code" since the founding of the People's Republic of China. It is a major achievement of my country's socialist rule of law in the new era. It has created a precedent for the compilation and legislation of my country's code and is of milestone significance. At the training meeting, Lawyer Wang Lijun gave an in-depth interpretation of the legislative background, compilation process, basic content, and the great significance and characteristics of the promulgation and implementation of the Civil Code.
