On June 21-22, 2024, the Communist Party of China Shanghai Haitai Steel Pipe (Group) Co., Ltd. Branch Committee, in conjunction with the Second Branch Committee of the Communist Party of China Petroleum Materials Shanghai Co., Ltd. and the Marketing Branch Committee of the Communist Party of China Jingjiang Special Steel Co., Ltd., held a party building activity in Jingjiang, Jiangsu with the theme of "July 1st Unity: Building a New Chapter of Party Building Together".
During the event, party members from various branches exchanged and learned from each other. They visited the integrity exhibition hall, laboratory, 258 plant, pipe processing plant, dock of Jingjiang Special Steel Company, and Baohao warehouse of Haitai Steel Pipe Company. They held a party building co construction signing ceremony and had discussions and exchanges. The next day, they jointly visited the "Crossing the River Campaign - First Sail of the Eastern Front" Memorial Hall.
On the afternoon of the 21st, enterprise leaders, party members, and the public visited the integrity exhibition hall of Jingjiang Special Steel Co., Ltd. The exhibition hall mainly reviewed the different requirements put forward by the party for "integrity" in different periods since 1921 in chronological order. Through this process, we can not only see our party's consistent adherence to "anti-corruption and promoting integrity", but also see that our party's approach to "party discipline and clean governance" has put forward different requirements according to different times and periods, proving our party's fine tradition and political advantages of "keeping pace with the times". At the same time, by visiting the anti-corruption process and warning cases of Jingjiang Special Steel Company, each party member has gained new insights and understanding on how to "calculate the seven accounts of life well".
Subsequently, enterprise leaders, party branch secretaries, as well as party members and representatives of the masses, jointly held a party building exchange meeting. The three branch secretaries introduced the party building work of their respective branches in the first half of the year. Through some specific measures or institutional reforms, as well as the results and post analysis, they exchanged ideas and gained different inspirations. They also discovered different entry points in basic party building work. They benefited a lot from how to enrich party building activities, enhance the subjective initiative of party members, and better serve the people.

Finally, under the witness of the leaders of each company, the three branches signed an agreement on "Party building and co construction" with each other.
The next day, all party members of the three branches visited and studied at the "First Sail of the Eastern Front" Memorial Park together. In the memorial hall of the park, everyone revisits the oath of joining the Communist Party and reminisces about their original intention to join the party.
By visiting the rich historical materials, graphics, and short historical videos in the museum, we learned about the glorious deeds of 370000 Jingjiang residents who devoted their all to providing food security for the People's Liberation Army and selflessly dedicating themselves to the Battle of Crossing the Yangtze River! The foundation of the Party lies in the people, and the strength of the Party lies in the people. The victory of the Battle of Crossing the Yangtze River demonstrated the unwavering belief of the People's Liberation Army, the spirit of revolution to the end, and the strength of military civilian unity and courage to strive for excellence. Reviewing history and interpreting history not only cleansed the hearts of visitors, but also deepened the understanding of the original intention and mission of the CPC.
These two days of party building activities, whether it is the exchange and learning of political theory knowledge or the visit to revolutionary historical sites, have continuously enhanced the cohesion and combat effectiveness of grassroots party organizations. In the future work and study, our branch will also continue to work hard and play a pioneering and exemplary role as a party member!
